My father is a dementia patient and he needs to go to the dentist soon for a teeth cleaning and filling The last time I took was over a year ago and the worst thing was the way Dad struggled to cope with the check up. It was like dealing with a child with learning difficulty, but the nurse was so kind and kept holding Dad’s hand throughout the procedure. Does anyone have experience taking any of your loved ones with Dementia who won’t cooperate to a dentist? Please share.
